The product’s chain needs a quality certification of productione line.

…in terms of product development
Not applicable

…in terms of mass production
GDO has a great interest on mass production of wild spontaneous plants for a diversification of on-sale products.

Elements as rarity, biological cultivations, different taste are interesting for an innovative GDO sale policy.

SECTION 3: FINAL EVALUATION

It is requested a final evaluation considering the funding opportunities you believe most suitable for the exploitation of the R&D result, considering the possibility of the creation of a spin-off, further research, in particular, a cost/benefit analysis and a financial projection for the R&D result, type of collaboration identified (i.e. Licensing Agreement, Technical Cooperation, Joint Venture, Manufacturing Agreement, Commercial Agreement with Technical Assistance, Creation of a spin-off, Joint further development)…
BIOINNOVERBE is an interesting project that is focused on development of wild spontaneous plants for areas as agriculture, tourism, environment and gastronomy.

The overall objectives are the definition of an innovative spreading model and the support of the competitiveness of local agriculture. An important goal is to relaunch the horticultural compartment, stimulating the rural tourism and the joint among agricultural productions, the territory, the environmental and the richness of the landscape.

The mass production for these products is however difficult: this is an opportunity for small local producers to improve and to differentiate their quality production, destined to GDO, local restaurants, tourists.

There is in fact an interest of GDO and restaurants towards this project for the potential augmented availability of rare and local products.

The collaboration is therefore possible between local stakeholders (farmers, producers, commercial partners) and project’ partners to improve innovative techniques for organic farming, for diversification of yelds, for recovery of marginal areas (e.g. mountain areas) and for profit increase.

Decision of evaluation (Please keep only the appropriate)

  • The R&D has a high potential of exploitation
