1 Taking into account the rest of the cost evaluation please provide an overall estimation of the total costs for full deployment/production of the R & D result.
… in terms of IPR protection
SIPP –HUF 5,000. 

The cost of submitting a trademark application is HUF 240,000. (optional)

…in terms of product development
The development phase will take 6 months. 

2 developers and the project owner will work with a salary of 200.000 HUF/months/person + insurances 60.000 HUF/month/person. Expert – 100.000 HUF/month + insurances 30.000 HUF/month.

Necessary hardware: 3 computers, about 1.000.000 HUF.

5 tests have to be done in real environment – 50.000 HUF each.


…in terms of mass production
The project owner and  ½ software developer will work, with total cost as 390.000 HUF/month, and one external expert is needed 130.000 HUF/month.
… in terms of marketing
Best practice prospectus about the tests – 150.000 HUF 

A good webpage, newsletter – 50.000 HUF/month.

Travelling etc.

Potential buyers are institutes serving handicapped people and/or funds supporting these institutes.

3 Dimension of identified target groups
In Europe’s German speaking area has 2500-3000 institutes caring with mentally handicapped people, in Hungary there are only 22.


4 Evaluation of financial Risks for R&D result
There is no possible estimation of market because of the mix of the existing and hidden demand.




After evaluating all the above mentioned criteria, please tick the best financing source for the achievement of R&D result (i.e. own capitals, banking credits, venture capital, business angels, etc)

It is requested a final evaluation considering the funding opportunities you believe most suitable for the exploitation of the R&D result, considering the possibility of the creation of a spin-off, further research, in particular, a cost/benefit analysis and a financial projection for the R&D result, type of collaboration identified (i.e. Licensing Agreement, Technical Cooperation, Joint Venture, Manufacturing Agreement, Commercial Agreement with Technical Assistance, Creation of a spin-off, Joint further development)…
The scientific part of the project can be founded by different FP7 or 8 grants. The source of software development can be some venture capital, or support of one of potential future buyers (a charity fund for example). According to the cash flow projection and taking into account the risks it is worth to continue this project. 

The future database creates a basis for further researches and collaborations.
