Please provide a short description of the state-of-the-art and/or current trends in the field? How does the result fit into it?

Vă rugăm să faceţi o scurtă prezentare a celor mai importante realizări în domeniu şi/sau tendinţele actuale? Cum se încadrează rezultatul CD în acest context?

The realization of the high accuracy by the coordinate measuring system requires the generation of the geometrical errors field knowing the coordinate axis errors.Generally, the constructive elements are considered rigid and, therefore, the deviations of a sledge (the axis errors) aren’t dependent on one the other’s position.

The coordinates of point in space are components of the position vector materialized by the linear displacements of the sledges correspondent to the system icon.

These errors are parameters of related to the place of the mobile equipping (the measurement head) representing the generating support of the deformation curves. These are automatically realized to compare the different dimensional scales and materials.

This method which permits the compensation of the deformations of the carrying structure eliminates a set of the difficult problems imposed by the assembly technologies.

What is the problem/need/knowledge gap that the research result is responding to?  How was it addressed before?Care este problema/necesitatea/deficitul de cunoştinţe la care a cărei soluţionare contribuie rezultatul cercetării ? A fost acest aspect abordat anterior?
Besides of the mathematical model establishment of the measuring error interdependence, how is described above for errors caused by the static deformations, it is established the coordinate axis errors by measuring  with a sufficient accuracy with one of the existent equipment (auto-collimator, interferometer with laser, displacement translators so on). It is picked the coordinate set for a finite number. The grids are established related with the accuracy required. For a correspondent number of points, the errors determined by the respective approximation are much smaller than the separation power of coordinate measuring system.

All these problems are analyzed and discussed in special committees in the country and abroad where necessary measures are required to limit measurement errors.

 

In this context, the project having as result the development of a compensating method of errors caused by deformations for a supporting structure of the coordinate measurement systems.

What is the potential for further research?Care este potenţialul pentru cercetarea viitoare?
Scientifically and technically, it is required to develop compensation  models for errors caused by deformations of a supporting structure of coordinate measurement systems.The research result is included among research directions for promoting  technologies to compensate the  errors for mechanical structures.

The need to develop compensation technologies for error is justified by the need to drastically limit the consequences of mechanical deformation structures.

The protection of intellectual property rights was proposed for the product “Compensation Errors Due to Deformation of Bearing Structure at the Coordinate Measuring Systems” by means of technological license.

What are the steps that need to be taken in order to secure the IPR-protection? What is the cost of IPR-protection?Care sunt etapele ce trebuie parcurse pentru a se asigura drepturile de proprietate intelectuală? Care este costul pentru asigurarea proprietăţii intelectuale?
The main steps that may be mentioned in the license contract refers to the following:
- The right to unlimitedly use the license;
- The geographical area within which the license is manifested;
- Time duration and causes that can cause withdrawal of the license;
- The set of services that the licensee shall have to grant to beneficiary company;
- The measures to protect the project designs, technologies and other items subject to the right of intellectual and industrial property.

What is you overall assessment of the scientific maturity of the research result?Care este evaluarea generală a maturităţii ştiinţifice a rezultatului CD?
Developing of a set of original knowledge in the direction of the theme “Compensation Errors Due to Deformation of Bearing Structure at the Coordinate Measuring Systems” is a proof of scientific maturity of the R&D result. Scientific and technological excellence of research results consist of:
- Optimization of mechanical structures based on mathematical models;
- Fidelity of computer simulations depends on the accuracy of mathematical models used and how they are assembled.This method which permits the compensation of the deformations of the carrying structure eliminates a set of the difficult problems imposed by the assembly technologies.

 

For the model analyzed in the 2000x2000x2000 measuring space for that it is established the deformed, it is determined the real data file which is materialized in the model of curvilinear elements, for horizontal plane.

 

The current state of knowledge, theoretical approaches and practical implementations reveal that the solutions presented are real and feasible.
