In this paper is described an experimental equipment for research of shocks. At the processing in the regime with shocks, the shocks at the splint entering is equivalent to the application of a collision to driven element of mechanism of machine-tool.

 

This determines variations very large of processing force in a very short time. For the measurement of these variations it is necessary a dynamometrical device and software equipment for processing Test Point-Keithler.

 

To emphasize the processing force percussion and to analyze the influence of force on the motion it is necessary to measure the processing force variation in time. For the measurement of the processing force is used a dynamometric device.

The numerical acquisition of data interface is used to realize the numerical conversion of electrical signals applied to the entering and to transfer these signals to computer for numerical processing.

It is used a numerical acquisition of data interface type DAS 1602, made by Keithley, which has the following characteristics: number of entering channels: 8 differential/16 single and overall frequency of sample: 100 KHz.

The time needed for testing, probing and homologation is estimated to be within 60 working days.

The product costs (research, design, and prototyping) are estimated at 5000 Euro. The costs related to testing, probing and homologation of functional model are estimated to be 2000 Euro.

To what extent does the development team have technical resources for supporting the production of a new product? (Researchers, human resources, hardware, etc. )În ce măsură dispune echipa de resursele necesare pentru a asigura fabricarea noului produs? (Cercetători, resurse umane, hardware, etc.)
To verify the mathematical model of shaping mechanism motion in the regime with shocks and to analyze the shock influence about shaping mechanism function, it is necessary the adequate equipment.

As machine-tool, it is chosen, the shaping type SC425 because the processing is made in the first phase at the tool entering in chip, with shocks. Processing determines shaping mechanism function in regime with shocks, what implies the appearance of some jumps of linear velocities of mechanism couplings and angular velocities of elements. The shock at the entering in chip is equivalent to an application of a collision on driving element of shaping mechanism.

 

The team is made up of the resources needed to ensure production of the new product (researchers, human resources, hardware, etc.). It has extended experience both in research and in terms of achieving the prototypes (physical models).

The product is the result of research and experimentation activities conducted by a team of experts who wish to further optimize and launch the product in current manufacturing.

In this respect, the team is available for technical advising, so that potential partners can start manufacturing the new product.

Also, during the stage of launching into manufacturing,  the installation and operating instructions are going to be finalized.Based on innovative technical solutions for the manufacturing product launch, the following steps are required in technical and technological development:
- Development of design concept and requirements;
- Product design and production;
- Manufacturing the prototype;
- Prototype testing, probing and homologation (test reports, probes, measurements);
- Design the manufacturing flow technology;
- Execution of series zero to check-up if technological documentation and degree of endowment with tools and devices provided are able to ensure getting  the performances of the homologated prototype;
- Certification of series products.

Also, during the stage of launching in manufacturing, the installation and operating instructions have to be is finalized.

What additional technical resources are needed for the production of this new product?Ce resurse tehnice suplimentare sunt necesare pentru fabricarea acestui nou produs?
To emphasize the processing force percussion and to analyze the influence of force on the motion it is necessary to measure the processing force variation in time. For the measurement of the processing force is used a dynamometric device.

For implementing the dynamometric device into the system structure, further research is still needed to be done by firms specializing in these areas.

Apparatus, devices and machine used are indicated in the figure 1, thus : shaping ram; dynamometric device; tensometric bridge; accelerometers (process the signals received from translators) ; computer translator for acceleration positioned close to the working zone.

The operating of the equipment in manual / automatic cycle, controlled by sensors and specialized electronic circuits, does not raise difficulties in manufacturing assimilation.
Therefore, in terms of operating parameters, technical performance and manufacturing technologies, the new product is feasible, and by its promoting on the market, the current obsolete equipment can be replaced.

It is also of interest the launch in manufacturing, namely its promotion on domestic and international markets.

SECTION 3: Deployment

After developing and testing the experimental model, then setting-up all suppliers of materials, components and sub-assemblies required to manufacture the  product, as well as after setting the quantities and delivery terms, they go to series production.The numerical acquisition of data interface is used to realize the numerical conversion of electrical signals applied to the entering and to transfer these signals to computer for numerical processing.

It is used a numerical acquisition of data interface type DAS 1602, made by Keithley, which has the following characteristics: number of entering channels: 8 differential/16 single and overall frequency of sample: 100 KHz.

 

Purchasing of such equipment is made ​​from specialized companies that are manufacturing such products.

What is you overall assessment of the technical feasibility of the research result?Care este evaluarea generală a fezabilităţii tehnice pentru rezultatul CD?
Technical parameters required to the new product are achievable and within the range of standardized (normalized) values. 

Apparatus system for measurement and processing of all parameters mentioned above

comprises: dynamometric device, accelerometers, translator of linear and angular

course, charge amplifiers, tensometric bridge, numerical acquisition of data interface

and computer Notebook with software for acquisition and processing TestPoint-Keithley.

 

Product testing is not problematic, there are laboratories authorized for this purpose, where, in addition to functional parameters check-up, it is also checked-up the compatibility with machine tools.

Assumed risks (technical, financial) specifically refers to the following types:
- Risks that may arise during design stage;
- Risks that may occur during the execution of the product (technological risk, cost overrun risk, the risk of sub-contractors);
- Risks that may occur during operation of the product (possibility of changing the Euro currency value, changing economic circumstances, major legislative changes).

In conclusion, the project can be considered to have low risk in technical terms. Thus, the product design can be proposed for its manufacturing as well as experimental prototype. Also it is of interest its launch in series and mass manufacturing, namely to promote it on domestic and international markets.
