PART B: VALORISATION PLAN
1 | Please provide a short description of the state-of-the-art and/or current trends in the field? How does the result fit into it? |
State-of-the-art systems rely on the expertise of teachers who use the technological instruments available to them.
This system is highly modular and gives teachers great application freedom. It requires no IT knowledge, as it is entirely based on virtual reality, and does not alter children’s senses or else. No technological constraint is exerted on children, who are only encouraged to use their body.
|
2 | What is the problem/need/knowledge gap that the research result is responding to? How was it addressed before? |
The purpose is to improve learning in both normal and disabled children, without giving up the main learning resource for children, i.e. their body.
|
3 | What is the potential for further research? |
There is potential development in all the fields in which learning systems are used with a low-cost MILE package, with much better results.
|
4 | What is the proposed method of IPR-protection? (patent, license, trademark etc.) |
Italian patent -> search report -> extension
Trademark to distinguish the idea
|
5 | What are the steps that need to be taken in order to secure the IPR-protection? What is the cost of IPR-protection? |
Application filing
|
6 | What is you overall assessment of the scientific maturity of the research result? |
The results proved full scientific maturity.
