SECTION 2: QUALITATIVE FACTORS

 

3 Dimension of identified target groups 


 

 

The product addresses a small number of consumers (equipment manufacturers in the field, research). In Romania, there are similar products imported or at the level of pilot systems in research centers.

The product can be developed in partnership with the developers of electrical power plants using solar or wind energy. We estimate that the number of customers in increasing, at the same time with the programmes for financing the clean energy from national and EURopean funds.

 

 

 

 

4 Evaluation of financial Risks for R&D result
 

 

There is a willingness of the research team to achieve similar systems, the component equipment existing on the market in a diversified range and solutions for integrations being re-analyzable staring from the basic configuration. Because a functional model of the product was achieved and is functional, we consider that the financial risk is very low.

 

 

SECTION 3: IDENTIFICATION OF FINANCING SOURCES

After evaluating all the above mentioned criteria, please tick the best financing source for the achievement of R&D result (i.e. own capitals, banking credits, venture capital, business angels, etc)

The pilot project was financed within the Nucleu Programme (National Authority for Scientific Research).  

For product development, funds can be accessed within the programme  POS CCE,  Priority axis 4: Increase of energy efficiency and supply safety in the context of combating climate changes, or partnerships with private companies.

Partnerships could be created also within the National Plan for research, Development and Innovation – PN II for continuing the researches in the field of using efficiently the renewable energy.

SECTION 3: FINAL EVALUATION

It is requested a final evaluation considering the funding opportunities you believe most suitable for the exploitation of the R&D result, considering the possibility of the creation of a spin-off, further research, in particular, a cost/benefit analysis and a financial projection for the R&D result, type of collaboration identified (i.e. Licensing Agreement, Technical Cooperation, Joint Venture, Manufacturing Agreement, Commercial Agreement with Technical Assistance, Creation of a spin-off, Joint further development)… 


 

The equipment utilization for monitoring and measuring  the parameters with a view to estimating the renewable energy potential has the following benefits:

-          correct sizing of the renewable energy sources depending on the existent resources;

-          increase of technological level of products;

-          enhancement of specialist experience in high technology fields;

-          increase of equipment operating reliability level;

Consequently, the product can be mounted in small solar or wind power plants, the research results can be put at the disposal of the universities or specialists in the field, or of the equipment manufacturers in the field.
