 NOESIS has been tested within a pilot study.
1b. Please describe and discuss the testing results
NOESIS showed great potential for customisation to the kid’s need and characteristics, and assisted both educators and parents to monitor the kid’s project. Large-scale tests should be supported through the schools for disabilities and public educational services, in an effort to provide an alternative approach to the handling of autism spectrum disorders.

 

SECTION 2: Current Stage of Development

 

2a To what extent does the development team have technical resources for supporting the production of a new product? (Researchers, human resources, hardware, etc. )
 The R&D result is a result of collective effort and developers are available both for employment as well as for technical advice and support if the product is to be produced.

 

2b What are the technical issues that need to be tackled for full deployment, if needed?
 The technical issues that need to be tackled for full deployment are the following:Organization of a large scale pilot study for improving the productTranslation of the software in Greek language

Large orders for tools and material (as robots, stress, watches and RFID readers)

 

2c What additional technical resources are needed for the production of this new product?
 The additional resources needed for the production of this new product are software licenses for the educational material (APA).

 

2d Overall assessment of the current stage of technical development.
 NOESIS needs to be tested for a period of few months in order to make all the necessary final adjustments, and then it will be ready for making great commercial success.

  

SECTION 3: Deployment

 

3a Define the demands for large scale production in terms of
  • Materials

  • Staff effort
 The large scale production of NOESIS requires:

  • Touch Screens
  • Lego Robots
  • Software licenses for educational material
  • Stress watches
  • RFID readers and tags
  • Toys
  • 5 employees for the development of the product
  • Consultation services from a doctor, a pedophycologist and an educator
  • Translation of the software in Greek

4 What is your overall assessment of the technical feasibility of the research result?
 The R&D result can easily be transformed in a successful new product.
