In what mode has the result been tested? • Prototype • Pilot Application • Alpha/BETA testing
The result has been tested in all phases: Prototype, Pilot Application and Alpha/BETA testing.The testing period was minimum 1 year because of the testing periods in all weather conditions during the winter and summer also in order to receive the best results and to implement the best long term improvements during all kinds of weather conditions.Testing costs were estimated to 5.000 Euro’s excluding the production costs for the prototype and other related costs.


1b Please describe and discuss the testing results
The test results has shown some improvements in the effectiveness of the solar and vacuum panels and both innovations are improving the coefficient of efficiency and the most important changes are in the long term stability of the entire system, especially in the vacuum panels.In the flat rate connectors with ultrasonic welding the performance are improved with 7 to 10%.



SECTION 2: Current Stage of Development



To what extent does the development team have technical resources for supporting the production of a new product? (Researchers, human resources, hardware, etc. )
This result is already putted in the production line and has already shown great results on the market. The company CAMEL SOLAR is the producer that has bought the IP rights for production of this result. CAMEL SOLAR as a company has very high technical performance which is very important for the scale production and for further improvements of the product according the market needs.



What are the technical issues that need to be tackled for full deployment, if needed?
Since the full development of the product has been finished additional research can be done in the process of welding and cost cutting in that phase of the production. The ultrasonic welding is actually the real added value to this product and the best market potential for selling this product but the innovators are also aware that this added value is also adding costs to the final price of the product.Therefore the ideal solution is how the reach the same price of the product with giving the added value to the customers.



What additional technical resources are needed for the production of this new product?

SECTION 3: Deployment


Define the demands for large scale production in terms of
  • Materials
All components must be prepared in series in order to start the large scale production. Copper tube and aluminum strip welded with the use of ultrasonic welding are used as a material

The company CAMEL SOLAR has all necessary tools and machinery for the production

1 mechanical engineer

7 highly qualified machine operators

What is you overall assessment of the technical feasibility of the research result?
Since this result has already shown his potential on the market and is completely finished with all technical issues solved the result has very high rank for the technical feasibility. The innovator is aware that this innovation is not finished and that there is still potential for further research and for future development stages of the product until he satisfied all needs and expectation of the customers.
