New technological approaches have to be planned in order to improve the competitiveness of the wine sector. The market request generally rule the quality improvement of a wine and in the past years Italian wines have become more quality orientated





What is the problem/need/knowledge gap that the research result is responding to?  How was it addressed before?
The selection of phenotypic variants of grape berry, the scientific progress of agricultural practices as well as the technological innovations in oenological process have progressively renewed both vine growing and winemaking, but the dual name territory-product has been never fallen.







What is the potential for further research?
The control of the entire production process, products made of high recall and economic impact will maintain high quality and to prevent and / or intervene in case of problems.

What are the steps that need to be taken in order to secure the IPR-protection? What is the cost of IPR-protection?
