3 Dimension of identified target groups
The target market is consisted mainly by construction firms, architect and civil engineering offices. In Greece the number of firms offering construction services on 2009 were 2.196 (ICAP, Greek Financial Directory 2009). The number of private in individuals that own buildings and public organizations that could be served is difficult to approximate.


4 Evaluation of financial Risks for R&D result
The financial risks related with the transformation of the R&D result to a service offered in the Greek market are relatively small. The service that LHTEE offers provides large sale potential. Moreover, the fact that the offering of the service requires a minimum amount of sunk costs (costs that cannot be recovered), makes this investment exceptionally appealing.

Considering the current funding opportunities available, the most suitable solutions for deployment of the service are either the creation of a spin-off with the participation of a private investor, or the creation of private firm by an investor. In the second case the investor will provide the capital needed by using private funds and European funding for SMEs, and he will occupy the scientific team as employees or external contractors. The scientific team can buy shares of the firm so as to participate in the firm’s revenues.
